William C. Bollard is an experienced trial lawyer, arbitrator and mediator who has successfully tried to verdict complex business matters in both state and federal courts. He specializes in business litigation. He also has extensive international experience.

Mr. Bollard's practice experience includes business fraud and embezzlement litigation, intellectual property litigation, professional liability, products liability, trade secret misappropriation, employment litigation, class actions, real estate litigation, corporate and partnership counseling, inverse condemnation, creditor's rights litigation in bankruptcy court and appellate advocacy including writs and appeals before the California Court of Appeal, Federal Circuit Court of Appeals and the World Court.

Mr. Bollard is also active mediator. His mediation experience began in 1990, when he became a panel arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Over the past 25 years, he has arbitrated/mediated many disputes dealing principally with real estate issues, including earnest money and security deposit refunds, specific performance demands and other alleged breaches of contract in purchase and/or lease disputes. During 2010-13, Mr. Bollard served on the Irvine City Finance Commission where he became directly involved with many real estate issues involving municipal interests.

Mr. Bollard has also taken several courses and received certificates from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. He has taught MBA and law students the skills of interviewing and counseling clients in the context of dispute resolution settings at the Straus Institute as well as through the Orange County Superior Court. Mr. Bollard is also a licensed real estate broker.

Mr. Bollard received his Juris Doctorate Degree with Honors from Pepperdine University School of Law, in Malibu, CA, where he was editor of the Law Review. He received his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from Brigham Young University.

Prior to founding Julander, Brown & Bollard, Mr. Bollard founded Chapman, Fuller & Bollard, in Irvine, California. Mr. Bollard has also practiced at the law firms Call, Clayton & Jensen in Newport Beach, CA and McCutchen, Black, Verleger & Shea in Los Angeles, CA. He has acted as Special Consultant to the Mexican Federal Judicial Council in matters involving Mexico in the United States of America. He has been an Adjunct Professor at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution/Pepperdine University School of Law.
